LIVING LIFE ONE MEMORY AT A TIME

On a lazy Friday while I was browsing the internet I happened to stumble across a TED talk from an Inspiring girl which gave me the push I need to get ready for a 'Single Female Traveler' #SFT Sorta Journey.  I grabbed my travel guide which I purchased many many months back and took out the Bangalore map and started marking the places to explore. For those of you who want to start exploring Bangalore, There is a guide I'd like to recommend- 'Get to know Bengaluru better'. I think it is published by someone called CitizensMatters.in.    Life is funny...LIKE is even more funny...(humour me!) Usually,You like something and you don't know why you like what you like.. once you know why you like what you like you start to dislike the thing that you already liked and start liking the things that you didn't like because you feel the need to know why you didn't like what you didn't like.  If liking THINGS sound so complicated..think how complicated it would be liking PEOPLE You like who you like without knowing why you like who you like. But then..the whoever you like..likes another whoever..who in turn likes another whoever who likes the first person whom I talked about when I started taking about the people liking part. A great man once said....and I quote "A LIFE WITHOUT LIKE IS A SUNLESS GARDEN WHEN THE FLOWERS ARE DEAD " LIKE/DISLIKE is like a pattern that keeps repeating itself with people and things... It is all vicious ...

This was indeed a Saturday well spent.  I didn't really do anything productive but watching the Cooking with Charlie video over and over and over again finally inspired me to do something myself, and there I was...with flour and baking power sprinkled all over my face trying to make a complete mess of my kitchen. After several minutes of searching, I finally was successful enough in finding the exact thing I wanted to make. What better way to cook than to bake perfectly crisp butter cookies. Credits to this person/page  for giving me the perfect recipe to make butter cookies. AUGUST 21st   First of all..what on earth is a Spumoni ???!!... Got me wondering the same too.. Had to do a lot to research to figure out the fact that SPUMONI is an italian icecream.  SPUMONI meaning  -----   ice cream in layers of different colors, flavors, and textures often with candied fruits and nuts T raditional Spumoni flavors are a green Old World Cherry, a pink flavor made with Rum, Brandy, fruits, and nuts, and a traditional Chocolate. I have no clue how it tastes like..but it sure looks totally deeeeelicious!!! Look at all the colours!! The perfect blend of white , pink and chocolate !! NOTE TO SELF: Target 101 as on date  21,August,2012     MUST TASTE SPUMONI BY August 21,2013 (if the world  doesn't  end by then! :P)

Hi all! Hope you are as fit as a fiddle and as happy as a clam!  Thanksgiving is almost around the corner and where I come from we don't have turkeys or traditions to celebrate thanksgiving. So, that kept me wondering what I should do to make thanksgiving really like thanks-giving...That kept me wondering and wondering till I took a pen and paper and started jotting down all the little things in life I am thankful for. These were just the random things that snuck into my mind that I thought were worth sharing with the whole wide world. 1. Life : For the 'health in your bones'.It is probably the biggest gift one can receive from the Lord above without being asked.  2. Family : For when life gets rough and patchy,having people to run to who make everything okay. 3. Friends : For sharing the wonderful things life has to offer together. 4. Mobile Phones : For keeping everyone and everything connected. 5. Laptops : For keeping everyone busy. 6. Internet...

Just when I thought 'hello and bonjour'..are the only two words i can use to greet people... another amazing word added into my verbal dictionary! (well in reality i cant really say that to anyone out loud yet).For those of you wondering what that meant..it is Korean for hello ... Not just that..i even know how to say sorry in Korean.. "JWESONG-HAMNIDA" . Not just that...I can even say 'miss'...'mister'.. 'yes'..'no'...'like'...'love'... 'thank you'....a few other words too in Korean. I don't really mind if you mistake me for a crazy person for writing down a huge list of all the little words I can speak in a new language onto the big world wide web..Coz hey..its my blog..I can scribble down all the stuff I want in the world!
